If you enjoy singing the very finest in choral music and are a student at the University of Virginia, Jubilate is the choir for you. In addition to being nationally recognized for its musical excellence, Jubilate is committed to being an ensemble in its very fullest sense, providing students with a rewarding musical experience as well as a sense of belonging, camaraderie, and Christian community. Consisting of both undergraduate and graduate students, the choir allows students from a variety of backgrounds to experience the joy of joining voices and spirits in song. Jubilate performs songs from a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from classical to contemporary. Our rehearsal schedule is Tuesdays from 5:45-7:30PM and Thursdays 5:15-6:30PM.

Auditions can be done any time of the year; however, those who audition after retreat will not be able to join the choir until the following semester. If you can sing Amazing Grace then you are ready to audition! No prepared piece is necessary, just a willing desire to sing to the glory of God.
